| Shirley deLang was born in rural Ontario and now resides in Toronto,
combining home and studio. Although Shirley has studied with well known
artists much of her learning and discovery has been in her own studio.
Shirley
is proficient in several mediums including oil, pastel, watercolour and
castpaper sculpture. She has gained notoriety for her portraits of pets
and people.
She has exhibited in many group and solo shows
extending back to the mid 70's. Her art hangs in private and corporate
collections throughout Canada, the United States and South America.
