Shirley's paintings are created through her experiences in life with nature, walking in the country or on city side walks. Her appreciation for the environment is shown in her work of many subjects with attention to detail. Her talents are expressed in many art media such as pastel, watercolour, oil and cast paper images. Shirley has always enjoyed painting flowers, scenes, still life and portraits but her love of animals pulls her toward the creations of personalized pet portraits.

 

Canadian artist Shirley deLang has been creating art seriously for over 35 years.Shirley is proficient in several media including castpaper sculpture, oil, pastel and watercolour and has shared her talent and knowledge with students.She has exhibited im many solo and group shows extending back to the mid 70's. Her paintings hang in corporate and private collections throughout North and South America.
